Hueneme Bay is a senior community of 773 homes in Port Hueneme, California in Ventura County.  This coastal community is 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Its location, in a park-like setting,  is convenient both to shopping and to white, sandy beaches.  It is located 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 35 miles south of Santa Barbara. 

Truly "Carefree Living" is provided with low maintenance homes designed with private outdoor areas.  In addition, there are many recreational facilities provided for the owners and their guests.  In order to have legal age restrictions, one resident must be a "senior citizen" of age 55 or older. Certain others, depending upon their age or relationship to the senior citizen may also qualify for residency.  Non-qualified persons may visit for a maximum of 60 days in any calendar year. Pets are permitted, but their owners are asked that they not disturb the neighbors.
